PLRT
(Past Life Regression Therapy)

Regardless of their beliefs, many people find that Past Life Regression Therapy helps them to deal with unresolved issues affecting their current life.
What is Past Life Regression?
Past Life Regression is where you are carefully taken back in time, under hypnosis, to before your birth. You are asked to describe what you experience, and these details are carefully recorded and made into a report for you to keep.

There are different interpretations on what takes place during a past life regression, depending on your belief system. Here are the most common explanations:

  • Reincarnation (previous lives)
  • Genetic memory (fragments encoded)
  • Collective unconscious (one mind)
  • Inventive Mind (creative personality)

THE FIRST STEPS

TO

EMPOWERMENT

Motivation - Method - Maintenance

This process is hugely beneficial for wide ranging life challenges. For instance, PET can aid stroke recovery through safe neurological stimulation. PET can help people with Asperger Syndrome to reduce their anxiety and to cope more easily with daily challenges. PET can also help those who have histories of depression to take control of their lives.

Motivation (definition):

'the psychological feature that arouses an organism to action toward a desired goal; the reason for the action; that which gives purpose and direction to behavior;' (Dictionary.com)

In order to achieve success in something, you have to be sufficiently motivated to take action. You won't do it just because someone else tells you to - no matter who - your parent, your partner, your doctor, or your boss. For example, many people continue to smoke even though their doctor has advised them to stop. They may try all kinds of techniques to give up, but nothing seems to work for them.

PET helps you to identify your goal and the steps you need to take towards achieving it. Once you have personally taken the decision that you are going to do something about it, then that is where PET can help you find that extra resolve to get you going!

Method (definition)

'A means or manner of procedure, especially a regular and systematic way of accomplishing something: Orderly arrangement of parts or steps to accomplish an end.' (Dictionary.com)

Having identified the goal and the steps you need to take to achieve it, the next question is how! Choosing a way to achieve your goals is an essential element of PET and the choice is yours. The steps must be achievable, and the strategies must be acceptable to you. If not, that resistance cycle will set in - you will engage in all kinds of avoidance tactics, which will not produce the desired result, you will feel that you have failed and your self-esteem will plummet.

The 'method' in PET is designed to your specifications, and is developed in collaboration with you. It incorporates a wide range of therapeutic resources and each combination is specific to each person, and is based on the results of an in-depth assessment to produce your own customised package.

Maintenance (definition)

The extent to which a patient continues good health practices without professional supervision, as distinguished from the work of keeeping something in proper condition; upkeep.' (Dictionary.com)

How many dieters have experienced reaching their desired weights, but as soon as they stopped the diet they regained all the weight they lost?
Arriving at where you want to be by any method is one thing, managing to stay there is another matter. Maintenance requires an approach that is sustainable, involving both motivation and method for long-term continuity.

PET is not based on a quick-fix philosophy - how rapidly the 'fix' occurs depends on you, but the goal is success in the long-term - that means for life!
We all have occasions when certain issues hold us back, that prevent us from becoming all we can be - PET reframes the negative into the positive, making us aware of our inner resources, and giving us the courage to use them..
Example : We all know about the increased use of antidepressants these days - which reflects the pressured life-styles that many of us are experiencing.

PET offers a method of managing anxiety and stress:
without the use of pharmaceuticals, without extensive treatment programmes, and without creating life-long dependence on PET teams.

Often we harbour limiting beliefs that prevent us from succeeding where we wish to succeed, that keep us trapped inside our comfort zone, so that we never really know just how much we could achieve.
PET enables us to re-frame our way of thinking so that problems become opportunities, and to recognise that our every experience provides us with additional knowledge that we can use for our own advancement - to venture outside of our comfort zones and surprise ourselves!

Could PET help you? The answer is - try it and make your own judgment. Look at your alternatives and weigh the benefits and costs! Take control of your life?
